The power of hourly data in in your hands. Designed and purpose-built in house, the FlowBridge gateway monitors up to 6 beer lines, sending their data to our AWS cloud for problem solving solutions. The system collects analysable flow data for increased operational efficiency, and hourly temperature readings ensuring correct temperature and anomalies for corrective actions. Individual tap usage enables font tap balancing and identifies overused and unused taps, enabling an audit trail to pinpoint inefficiencies by comparing beer dispensed against beer sold. For the first time, decision makers can have complete visibility to their taps in near realtime.
The FlowBridge gateway is a purpose built monitoring solution from i-Keg, designed to collect live operational data from beer lines and turn it into clear, actionable insight through our Brew OverWatch cloud portal. Monitoring up to six lines from a single gateway, FlowBridge records beer flow, temperature and location data, helping operators compare beer dispensed against beer sold, identify inefficiencies and improve profitability across each venue. With hourly flow readings measured to the millilitre, individual tap usage can be reviewed to support tap balancing, highlight overused or unused fonts and provide a clearer understanding of team performance, product movement and venue profitability.
Designed for demanding cellar and on-trade environments, the FlowBridge system uses in-line flow and temperature sensors with IP65 waterproof cabling and connectors, housed through an industrial grade metal enclosure for reliable use in wet or harsh conditions. Each sensor can be positioned flexibly anywhere between the keg and tap, with no mounting required due to its lightweight construction and standard one metre waterproof cabling, with extended cable options available for longer installation runs. Hourly poured temperature readings help ensure beer is served correctly, while anomalies can be identified for corrective action, protecting product quality, reducing waste and supporting a consistently better customer experience.
Reliable connectivity is central to the FlowBridge gateway. The system automatically connects to the strongest available signal, using both the location’s WiFi and global wireless LTE connectivity as part of a two level connection failover, helping ensure valuable data continues to reach the cloud. Data is sent securely to our AWS PostgreSQL cloud, with servers in London and other global locations, and can be reported every 24 hours as standard, with 2, 6 or 12 hour reporting available through portal requests. Line cleaning events can also be identified through unusual flow spikes outside business hours, helping expose missed cleaning, reduce poor taste, limit product waste and support higher operational standards across every monitored line.
In partnership with the leading worldwide and domestic beer brands, we have developed the technology of the future to give environmentally minded beer producers total control of the beer that they sell, from leaving the factory gate to the point of sale, and return for refill. Our kegs are a unique and positive way to dispose of older kegs over time whilst making steps forward for our environment.
