Connected WiFi Plastic Keg

The Future In
Plastic Keg Technology

The i-Keg is a simple yet powerful combination of two 21st century technologies. Aimed at brewers and other liquid manufacturers of all sizes across the globe, our polymer keg and cask range deliver a solution to manage container fleet, giving the brewer full visibility of kegs and casks whilst on and off site. Our cloud based system requires no manual input, whilst supplying real time data direct to the brewer.

Track and Trace Your Keg Fleet

The i-Keg container together with its smart technology identifies the individual container its contents, volume and temperature and tracks it in real time throughout, its fill-empty-fill cycle with no manual input. This is achieved by inserting a 10 year shelf life battery operated wifi enabled transponder at the point of i-Keg production, which holds the unique identification reference of the container.

The container when signed onto the i-Keg software system will track itself through each stage of its life cycle, automatically uploading a unique container identification reference, its current location 24 hours a day 7 days a week, the contents volume, ambient temperature plus several other options available from our service menu to our i-Keg cloud based management portal.

Plastic Keg Life Cycle

Giving real time access to tracking status, product traceability and asset management reports without the need for the container to be physically scanned by brewery staff, delivery drivers or pub operators at any stage of its life cycle, our plastic keg with integrated tag will transform the product life cycle for the brewing industry. Tracking kegs in real time throughout its fill to empty to fill cycle with no manual input, you can improve keg turn times, boost capacity and turn stock to cash faster.

Working with plastics in the brewing industry for over a decade, we commonly face reservations to the use of plastics, with a prejudice that plastics are tacky or cheap when compared to steel. No doubt similar sentiments were expressed when the first aluminium and steel cask were produced to replace wood, or more recently, when electric cars entered the market as a replacement for the internal combustion engine. New technology always faces opposition, until the benefits can be proven and the solution becomes cost effective and sust...

Developing the
Future in Plastic Keg Technology

In partnership with the leading worldwide and domestic beer brands, we have developed the technology of the future to give environmentally minded beer producers total control of the beer that they sell, from leaving the factory gate to the point of sale, and return for refill. Our kegs are a unique and positive way to dispose of older kegs over time whilst making steps forward for our environment.
